new bike...
- Yea:
- Looks cool.
- Not nearly as heavy as any other bike I've owned.
- Lockable front suspension fork. This is nice because I don't always like the gushy ride that the suspension fork brings.
- Removable wheel means it fits in my hatchback.
- It's QUIET. I don't know how but it doesn't make any sound, even when you move the pedals backwards.
- Everything's adjustable. I haven't made all the adjustments I want yet, but it's close to where I want it.
- Nay:
- Flashing pedals? Fkn weird.
- I may have to start wearing a helmet. This thing goes really fast...
I got the bike because a) I've been wanting one for years, and I kept promising myself I'd get one "next year," b) I can't run because my ankle is still trying valiantly to heal, and c) I can't stand using machines or sitting in my house any more. Oh and d) I hate feeling like a fucking fatass.
I think I'll probably get some kind of rack or saddlebag for it. And probably a couple of gigantic locks because if this gets stolen I will seriously cry. With any luck I'll be able to bike to the grocery store and save a few gas dollars in running around town.

Maybe the flashing pedals wouldn't be too much if you didn't have flashing lights in your sneakers. Sorry, overkill man.
I also don't like you feeling like a fatass... I mean, um, physical fitness is great!
I wanna get physical, physical! Let's get physical!

I want a new bike! Riding around the city on a 1992 fuchsia Huffy is not cool. Hence, it is in my parent's garage in the suburbs.
